Vernal Equinox Ritual Circle

Blessed Be. As the Wheel of the Year turns once again, gather with us in sacred circle (socially distanced) to welcome Spring Equinox and celebrate the awakening of the natural world and the strengthening of the Sun. Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara, marks the threshold of the light overtaking the dark. At Ostara, the day and the night are of equal length, and brings us a moment of balance before we begin to rise into the lighter half of the year as the day becomes longer than the night. It is time for the whispers, dreams and hopes of Imbolc to become action offering us energy that is both expansive and exuberant. It is a celebration of awakening, fertility, renewal, re-birth and abundance.

Join us for ritual and ancient Celtic practices as we honor the fertile abundance given to us by the land and celebrate all that is coming alive within us.

Please bring one small candle in a glass container. All other materials will be provided.
We will meet at the 218th St. entrance to Inwood Hill Park. We will gather rain or shine.

Energetic Exchange:

Sliding Scale:
$20 ~ Blessing
$30 ~ Exchange
$40 ~ Offering

The ancient Celts lived in deep relationship with Nature and their lives physically and spiritually were guided by the seasons. We have made three Energetic Exchanges available to you in honor of where you find yourself in the seasonality of your own life. Blessing honors the time of Autumn/Winter when we are post harvest and have just enough to sustain ourselves. Exchange honors the time of Spring/Summer when our life is blossoming and we are able to share and exchange what we have with each other. Offering honors the time of Summer/Autumn when we are harvesting and reaping the abundance of what we have cultivated and able to support ourselves and others in our community.
