Blessed Be. As the Wheel of the Year turns once again, gather with us in sacred circle (socially distanced) to welcome Lugnasadh and celebrate the beginning of the harvest season. Lugnasadh, also known as Lammas, marks the first of three harvest festivals and the beginning of the noticeable descent of the Sun honoring the end of Summer. It is a celebration of abundance, fullness, fulfillment, reciprocity and the bounty of Nature.
Join us for ritual and ancient Celtic practices as we honor the bounty and abundance given to us by the land and the spiritual ripening within each of us.
Please bring one small candle in a glass container. All other materials will be provided.
We will meet at the 218th St. entrance to Inwood Hill Park. We will gather rain or shine.
Energetic Exchange:
Sliding Scale:
$20 ~ Blessing
$30 ~ Exchange
$40 ~ Offering
The ancient Celts lived in deep relationship with Nature and their lives physically and spiritually were guided by the seasons. We have made three Energetic Exchanges available to you in honor of where you find yourself in the seasonality of your own life. Blessing honors the time of Autumn/Winter when we are post harvest and have just enough to sustain ourselves. Exchange honors the time of Spring/Summer when our life is blossoming and we are able to share and exchange what we have with each other. Offering honors the time of Summer/Autumn when we are harvesting and reaping the abundance of what we have cultivated and able to support ourselves and others in our community.
